Using the “ancestral equation” of voice, strings and percussions, this founding trio escapes from the folk song tradition by introducing the piano, a key-instrument in modern music. As such, this atypical bassless quartet enters modern times replacing the percussions with drums. Deeply rooted in the jazz spirit of improvisation and permanent renewal, this 4tet’s repertoire bases its speech on an opened pattern (planned or immediate), where themes (compositions or big standards) echo the inventiveness of each musician.
