Pianist Jussi Fredriksson's new album Jazz Wars is a jazz epic containing two different compositions that center around the themes of power and warfare. The album is released by Fredriksson's own label, Fredriksson Music, and boasts an impressive line up of Finland's most esteemed and awarded players: Joonatan Rautio (saxophone), Jukka Eskola (trumpet), Marzi Nyman (guitar), Jori Huhtala (bass) and Jukkis Uotila (drums). Fredriksson's compositions vary from a grandiose and cinematic soundscape to a more philosophical approach creating a dramatic storyline, that continues throughout the album.
