Pianist Lisa Ullén and saxophonist Anna Högberg release Step up a second!, a unique composition for eleven musicians. Besides Ullén and and Högberg themselves, the ensemble includes e.g. Finn Loxbo on guitar, Per Texas Johanson on clarinet, Anna Lund on drums, Eva Lindal on violin, Sten Sandell on piano, and other musicians gifted with a singular musical vision. Together, they create jazz that throws itself out of the moment with great vitality, into the swarming complexities of our time.
