Alberto Pinton, who comes from Italy and has also lived and studied in the USA with some of the greatest baritone saxophonists in jazz history, such as Haimiet Bluiett and Joe Temperly, to name but a few. He moved to Sweden in the 90s and has since been a "first call" to all sorts of ensembles and is now a permanent member of the Bohuslän Big Band. As a solo artist, he first debuted on Moserobie in 2001 with his Italy-based group Clear Now, who made two albums together.
Since then he has regularly released music on a bunch of different labels, and he has a very personal style both as an improviser and composer.
We are very excited to release this fantastic album with his newest group, which will also be the first album Alberto ever releases in vinyl format! 100% newly composed original music where you will also hear a large selection from Alberto's mighty instrumental arsenal.
