Harri Ihanus: Bro Time (CD)

On Harri Ihanus third album he plays together with the American saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi ,the pianist and Hammondplayer Renato Chicco and the drummer Andrea Michelutti. It contains classic Hammondjazz with a slight modern touch; compositions by Harri and standards. Jerry Bergonzi is one of the greatest saxophoneplayers around and made first recognition with Dave Brubeck. Renato Chicco has worked with Jon Hendricks and has lately focused more on the Hammond organ which he masters with deep musicality. Andrea Michelutti lives in Paris where he performs with both European and American musicians. Harri has played with Jerry Bergonzi through the years but also with various players in Sweden.
