Johnny Griffin: Live In Helsinborg 1990 (CD)

On July 27, 1990, the legendary tenor saxophonist Johnny Griffin—known as “The Little Giant”—delivered an electrifying performance at the Långvinkeln Jazz Club in Helsingborg. Backed by Danish musicians Thomas Clausen (piano), Mads Vinding (bass), and Svend-Erik Nørregård (drums), Griffin delivered a night of jazz filled with the joy of playing, in a way that only he could. This previously unreleased six-track live recording is now being released by Storyville Records under the title *Johnny Griffin & Thomas Clausen’s Trio – Live in Helsingborg 1990*.
