Privacy policy
The personal data we collect about you and process may come from Plugged Sweden websites (both our own and other websites and social networks belonging to third parties), our apps, electronic mail, SMS and other electronic messages, membership of our customer club, calls to customer service, stores, printed and digital registration forms for, for example, competitions, promotions, events, etc. The information we collect about you depends on which of our services you use. The data controller is Plugged Sweden AB, organization number 556625-8611.
With reference to law, we refer below to the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, and other applicable Swedish data protection legislation.
General information
We collect personal contact information such as social security number, name, postal address, e-mail address, social network information or phone number. It may also be other data needed to allow you to access your specific account profile, such as login name/email address, screen name, irrevocable passwords or security questions and answers, and demographic data such as date of birth, age or age range, gender, geographic location (for example, zip code), favorite products, hobbies and interests, and household and lifestyle information.
Plugged Sweden may process your social security number to ensure your identity, verify your BankID and update your postal address so that, among other things, bonus checks do not fall into the wrong hands.
Technical data
Information about the technical equipment you use to connect to any of our websites or apps, such as the IP address of your computer or device, type of operating system and browser type and version. If you connect to a Plugged Sweden website or app using a smartphone or other mobile device, we may also collect information about the phone's unique ID, advertising ID, geographic location and similar data.
Website usage data
When you visit or interact with our websites, including a chat function, or newsletters, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your activities. This includes information about which links you click, which pages or content you view and for how long, and other similar information and statistics about your visits, such as response times to content, file download errors and length of visits to certain pages. This information is collected automatically using cookies (browser cookies, flash cookies) and web beacons, as well as using third-party tracking services. Payment and financial information
This includes any information we need to complete an order or that you use to make a purchase, such as payment or credit card details (cardholder name, card number, expiry date) or other forms of payment. We do not have access to bank details such as credit card details ourselves, but they are handled by affiliated bank providers. Regardless of the method, we handle payment and financial data in a way that complies with applicable laws and standards such as PCI DSS.
We are committed to protecting your personal data. Except where you have given your consent, we do not license or sell your personal data to third parties.
Retention period
In accordance with applicable law, we will only use your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your personal data was collected or to comply with applicable legal requirements.
Persons who have access to your personal data
Your personal data is processed only by authorized personnel in the performance of their duties and depending on the purposes for which your personal data has been collected.
Actions in operational environments
We store your personal data in operating environments that use appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access. We follow reasonable standards for the protection of personal data. Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure. Although we go to great lengths to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted through our websites. Should we discover a breach of privacy, Plugged Sweden will notify the Data Protection Authority and the customers concerned where required by law.
Actions by you
It is important that you also take part in keeping your personal data safe and secure. For example, remember to choose a password that is difficult for others to guess. Never reveal your password to anyone. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for any use of your account. If you use a shared or public computer, make sure that your user details are not stored on the computer. Be sure to log out of your account every time you leave your computer. Also make use of the privacy settings or controls we provide on our website or in our app.

Advertising, marketing and promotions
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications from any media including third party social networks at any time by calling us at 08-31 91 15. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from marketing communications, you may still receive administrative messages from us, such as order confirmations or other transactional information, account activity notifications (account confirmations, password changes, etc.), and other important messages.
Right of access
In accordance with the law, you have the right to request from us, free of charge, information about what personal data Plugged Records processes about you, after you have clearly indicated what information you wish to receive (for example, what categories of specific personal data we process about you and for what purposes). You can exercise these rights by contacting us. We will then want to verify your identity. We will respond to your requests without undue delay and within one month. In the event that we are unable to comply with your request, we will notify you and explain why.
Modification and deletion of personal data and data portability
As permitted and limited by law, you may request the deletion, rectification or amendment of your personal data, refuse the processing of your personal data, restrict the use and disclosure of your personal data, have the personal data you have provided to us transferred (ported), and withdraw any consent to the processing of your personal data. Please note that in some cases we cannot delete your personal data without simultaneously deleting your user account. We may be required to retain some of your personal data after you request deletion to comply with our legal or contractual obligations. We may also be permitted by applicable law to retain certain personal data to meet our business needs. Some of our websites have a special feature to allow you to review and edit the personal data you have provided to us. Please note that our registered customers must be able to prove their identity (e.g. login name/email address, password) before they can access their account information and make changes. This helps us to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Please note that any data provided to us will be processed in accordance with applicable law and to the extent permitted by law.
Right to object
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest after a balancing of interests. We must then, after you have specified the processing to which you object, demonstrate that there are interests that weigh more heavily. You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data carried out for direct marketing purposes, including profiling. However, for members, profiling is covered by the obligations that Sweden has towards its members for the duration of the membership.
Changes/adjustments to the policy
Plugged Sweden has the right to make changes to the privacy policy. If any significant changes are made to the privacy policy, we will inform you of this in good time before the changes are made.
Complaints
If you believe that we are processing your personal data in violation of applicable regulations, we ask you to report this to us as soon as possible. You can contact the Swedish Data Protection Authority if you have a complaint about our processing of personal data.
Compensation for damages
If you believe that you have suffered damage due to our processing of your personal data in violation of the law, you may be entitled to damages. You can then claim damages from us or take legal action.
